Qi Etherealizer is a multi-effects pedal created in collaboration with Yvette Young that combines chorus, delay, granular effects, and reverb to create a creative playground for exploring space.

Combine chorus, delay, and grain, choose series or parallel connections, and create your own world of inspirational possibilities in the stereo field.
Preset storage and bypass functions for chorus, delay, and grain controls can be quickly and instantly changed by pressing the BYPASS and FREEZE switches simultaneously. Add a slight delay to a traditional chorus, or leave it all to Qi to create a space-filling image of glitches and ambience. Qi will breathe new life into your playstyle.


■Global Controls
Space Knob:
Space adds a pleasant and attractive reverb to the effect signal. Use this knob to adjust the reverb mix and decay. Adjustable from small room sounds to large ambient reverbs at maximum settings. A rich, complementary reverb that can be combined with other effects to immerse yourself in a dreamlike world.

Tone Knob:
You can control the cutoff of a synth-style resonant low-pass filter and shape the tone of the effect output.

Series and Parallel:
In Series, the effects are processed in the order of chorus > delay > grain > output, feeding back to each other.
In Parallel, the chorus, delay, and grain effect outputs are all combined and do not feed back into each other. The top knob acts as a level control, allowing you to control the level of each effect.

The Mix/Dry parameter adjusts the mix of wet and dry signals in Series mode, and the dry level in Parallel.

■Grain Controls
Grain Cloud:
This mode randomly triggers small samples (grains) from your playing, adding an unpredictable yet attractive glitch texture to your sound. The X knob controls the length of time between grains, so you can vary from dense clusters to sparse accents.

Phrase Sample：
In this mode, the grains are triggered rhythmically from your performance. The grain begins playing from the first peak of the performance, creating a rhythmic and deliberate effect. The X knob adjusts the sample playback tempo. Turning the X knob to the minimum position synchronizes the Phrase Sample time to the delay time, and the repeated grains will synchronize to the delay repeats.

The Grain effect also features five playback modes that determine how the grain sample is played.
・x1: Normal
・x2: 2x speed, +1 octave
・x.5: Half speed, -1 octave
・REV: Reverse playback
・RNDM: Random combination of the above four modes

■Delay Controls
The delay effect is a full, clean digital delay that provides up to 2 seconds of repeat. Use the Time knob to adjust the time between delays, and the Feedback knob to adjust the amount of delay. The TAP/OSC switch at the bottom right of the pedal can also control delay effects with tap tempo. Also, if you hold down the switch, the feedback will increase and the delay will vibrate.

Delay trails can be projected in three subdivision modes:
・Quarter note
・Dotted eighth note
・Eighth note

■Chorus Controls
The chorus effect has two modes

Tri Chorus：
A staple of multidimensional chorus. A rich, complex modulating sound that combines three voices to create a rich, vibrant sound.

Stereo Chorus::
This mode is a classic chorus effect, but the chorus modulation is offset 180 degrees to the right channel, creating a stereo widening effect.
