■About the academic version
Please check manufacturer site for the latest purchase conditions and authentication methods. We are unable to advise you as to whether or not this is applicable.

For purchasers
・Currently enrolled in a regular course and who is 18 years old or the age of majority as stipulated by the laws of the country of residence.
・Currently taking a course for more than 20 hours a week or taking a course for more than 12 months, and are 18 years old or the age of majority as required by the laws of the country of residence.
- Faculty members currently employed full-time or part-time at a school or university. The field of education does not matter. Part-time faculty and private tutors must be engaged in educational work for at least 20 hours per week.

How to apply
- There is no need to apply at the time of purchase, but you will need to request authentication directly from the manufacturer after purchase. Please note that those who are not eligible will not be able to obtain certification.

After purchasing, please request the following from the manufacturer.
: Request status certification of academic version. (Prove that you are a student or teacher)
To receive academic status verification, please send the following information to Ableton via email:
・Customer's name and email address
・Your Ableton serial number

You will also need to upload one of the images below.
・Student ID card (with expiration date or period clearly specified)
・School transcript or certificate of enrollment
・Teacher ID (with valid period specified)
・Certificate of employment (official one that clearly states the name of the educational institution)

:We will activate your license as soon as the status verification is completed. The manufacturer will notify you via email when the certification is complete.

Please note: The academic version will not work properly until status verification is completed in Ableton. Free license available for 30 days until status verification is completed
