Released in 1955, the Les Paul Special has been played by countless guitarists for over 60 years. Based on the Les Paul Junior with its flat mahogany body, it features a '50s-style thick mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, wraparound bridge, an additional P90 pickup in the neck position, neck binding, controls for the neck pickup, and a 3-way toggle switch.
