KATANA:GOには、定評のあるKATANA Ampシリーズより譲り受けたサウンドが凝縮されています。ギター・モードでは、BOSSが考える理想的なハイゲイン・サウンドのBROWNやクリアで透き通るような音色が特徴のCLEAN、ファットなCRUNCHなど幅広いサウンドを網羅。ベース・モードでも、真空管アンプ特有の豊かな倍音成分が得られるVINTAGEやスラップに最適なレンジの広いMODERNなど、個性際立つタイプから選択可能です。もちろん、ギター／ベースそれぞれに最適化されたBOSSの高品位なエフェクトも数多く用意されています。また、モバイル端末とBluetooth接続すれば、専用アプリでその全てを駆使したサウンドメイクが可能。作成したサウンドを本体に保存して、いつでも呼び出すことができます。

無限のサウンド・ライブラリ

ギター／ベースそれぞれに即戦力のプリセット・メモリーが30ずつ用意されているため、バリエーション豊かなサウンドで演奏を楽しむことが可能です。また、KATANA:GOはBOSSのKATANA Ampシリーズで作成したメモリーを読み込むことができます。オンライン・プラットホームのBOSS TONE EXCHANGEにアクセスすれば、世界中のユーザーが作成したメモリーをダウンロードすることも、自身で作り上げたメモリーをアップロードすることも可能です。

KATANA:GOは、Bluetooth接続したモバイル端末からのオーディオ再生に対応しています。さらに、専用アプリには便利なSESSION機能を搭載。アプリ内で再生したYouTubeコンテンツに合わせて演奏することができ、リピートの設定や再生速度の変更に加え、指定したポイントでメモリーを自動的に切り替えることができます。加えたマーカーなどの設定も含めてアプリへ保存すれば、自分だけの練習コンテンツをいつでも呼び出すことが可能。練習の効率が飛躍的に向上します。

KATANA:GO is a condensed version of the sounds inherited from the acclaimed KATANA Amp series. Guitar mode covers a wide range of sounds such as BROWN, which is the ideal high-gain sound considered by BOSS, CLEAN, which has a clear and transparent tone, and fat CRUNCH. Even in bass mode, you can choose from distinctive types such as VINTAGE, which provides the rich overtones characteristic of tube amps, and MODERN, which has a wide range perfect for slap. KATANA:GO supports audio playback from mobile devices connected via Bluetooth. Furthermore, the dedicated app is equipped with a convenient SESSION function. You can play along with YouTube content played within the app, and in addition to setting repeat and changing playback speed, you can automatically switch memories at specified points. If you save the settings, including added markers, to the app, you can recall your own practice content at any time. The efficiency of your practice will improve dramatically.

これまでVOXのamplug、Blackstarのamplug2と渡り歩いてきましたが、ついに奮発してBOSSに手を出しました。とりあえず、例のごとく説明書は見ないで電源をONにしてみましたが特に困ることなく、専用アプリのペアリング、各エフェクトの調整、音源をバックに練習するまで進めることができました。
・充電式なので電池気にしなくていい
・音源がBluetoothでワイヤレスになったのは大きい
・YoutubeのURLを練習用プレイリストに登録できるのも良い
わがままを言うなら、ヘッドホンもBluetooth接続できたらよかったですがそれはきっといつかそうなると信じていますｗ
ベース用エフェクトもたくさん用意されているので、これからいじっていきますが、それぞれでパラメーターもけっこう細かくいじれるので音作りも楽しんでいこうと思います!!
ベースアンプを鳴らせない練習好きにはもってこいの1台です!!

クリア感のある現代的なサウンド

BOSSのハイファイ感を感じるいいサウンドだと思います。レコーディング用途も考えて購入しましたが、こういうクリアな音はレコーディングにありがたいです。プリセットも「A:ドライブ」「B:クランチ」「C:クリーン」と別れているので、他のマルチエフェクトより音を見つけるのが素早いのもいいです。（ギターのプリセットは典型的な音が網羅されていて感触もいい感じ、しかしベースのプリセットはほとんど好みにあわずでした。）
　
USBでレコーディングするにも48kHzサンプリングレートなのもOK。録音データの提出は一般的に24bits/48kHzで、44.1kHzしか対応していない製品は地味に使えなくなります。
　
残念な点はWindowsで事実上DAWで使えないこと。ASIO未対応です。MacはAUに対応している（してないと機能しない）ので、DAW用オーディオインターフェースとしても使えます。Macbookとこれだけあれば、素早く録音完了できます。
　
また1曲内でギターもベースも録音する場合、モード切り替えして電源を落とさないといけないのも残念です。DAWに繋いだまま電源を落とすとなると面倒（DAWを起動し直し）なので、ちょっと困ります。
　
録音用途だとこの辺気になりますが、通常のギター演奏には最強だと思います。ギターモードのプリセットが、変な飛び道具的でなく現実的なのが最高です。

ギターもベースも対応してて音もいい。自宅練習に最適。マーシャルのCODEアプリよりも簡単操作で作り込みもできるアプリも気に入ってます。

もう自宅の小型アンプのヘッドホン端子を使うことはなさそうです。

他のレビューでBluetoothが途切れると書いてありますが、自分は1ヶ月以上使っていてBluetoothが途切れるなんて事は1回もありませんでした。音は普通にいいし、ライン撮りも簡単に出来るので本当に満足しています。強いて欠点を言うとしたら、ちょっとバッテリーの持ちが短いかなぁってところと、細かい音作りには向いてないってところくらいですかね。まぁバッテリーの持ちが短いっていうのは充電しながら演奏すれば一切問題は無いんですけどね笑
結論を言うと買って損はないです！！

素晴らしい

不満点は多少ある。マニュアルがわかりにくくBlueToothペアリングにかなり時間がかかったし、BlueToothが頻繁に切れるためスマホの設定変更方法にたどり着くまで手間がかかった。

しかし、音質重視、音は絶対妥協しない、とにかく音が最高のものが欲しい、という理由で購入したのは正解でした。音は皆さんのレビュー通り文句のつけようがない。むしろこの価格でこれだけのサウンド品質と機能が手に入るのが信じられないくらい。

音が良いものを選ぶ、という方は損はしないはずと思います。

※BlueToothペアリングはKatana-go: MIDI　と　 Katana-go: AUDIOという二つの系統のペアリングが必要で、これらは独立しているという理解を前提で始めると、混乱がなく、あとは特に問題なくペアリングが進められる。
