Cutting-edge sound
The four independent sound engines installed in the V-STAGE are the result of Roland's many years of research and development, and reproduce the charm of timeless keyboard instruments in amazing detail, creating an immersive playing experience. Sounds can be seamlessly combined in real time and adjusted as you like. You can always enjoy the best musical experience.

・Acoustic piano
Four expressive piano sounds are included, including two grand pianos, an upright piano, and a new felt piano with a unique velvety sound. Outstanding V-Piano technology achieves realistic acoustic characteristics and rich depth of tone. Virtual strings are stretched on all keys, and the action of the hammers is meticulously modeled, and the soundboard material delicately expresses the tone expression depending on the timing of key pressing. Brightness, stereo width, key touch, etc. can also be adjusted. You can also dig deeper with PianoDesigner to freely adjust the character, resonance, and other detailed parameters.

- Electric Piano
Enjoy the electric piano sounds of the past, from the beautifully rich Tine EP, to the punchy Reed model, to Roland's 1980s digital icon, to the soulful taste of the retro Clavinet. A new sound engine with flexible tone shaping and articulation controls allows you to create a wide range of sounds. The powerful SOUND LIFT knob allows you to play with a sound that cuts through the band while still maintaining the delicate details unique to electric pianos when played softly. Equipped with a dedicated tremolo, amp simulator, and carefully selected MFX, you can easily create vibrant EP sounds that match a variety of genres and atmospheres.

- Organ
A dynamic 3-layer console organ equipped with Roland's Virtual Tone Wheel sound source. Faithfully modeled on the subtle operation of the actual tone wheel mechanism, key clicks and leakage noise can also be adjusted. It provides an extremely realistic playing experience. Two 60s transistor combo models and a pipe organ are also included for further versatility. Harmonic bars and percussion controls allow for instant sound shaping. In addition to powerful overdrive, vibrato/chorus, the rotary speaker effect also features dedicated buttons for instant access to microphone position settings, rotary speed, and brake control.

・Synthesizer
More than 400 ZEN-Core tones are included, allowing you to effectively create solo parts as well as layer with other sounds. Two types of sounds can be used simultaneously, and intuitive controls for shaping attack, release, filters, etc. are included. V-STAGE also supports Roland Cloud's ZEN-Core SDZ SoundPack, allowing you to expand your inspiration to the fullest. In addition, you can download Model Expansions based on Roland's vintage analog synthesizers, including the JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106, for free.

・Real-time sound design
With four types of V-STAGE sound engines, you can create the perfect sound for a wide variety of songs. Controls are intuitively arranged for each sound engine, and are prioritized from the most important settings, such as shaping piano tones, adjusting organ textures, and layering synth sounds. You can also turn each engine on/off with the push of a button, set and reset split points, and adjust levels with knobs featuring dynamic LEDs that show status at a glance.

High versatility
Four rear panel jacks support numerous control options, including a basic hold/damper pedal, as well as footswitches and expression pedals for customizing various parameters. There are also two dedicated USB inputs for connecting external MIDI controllers such as the Roland A-49 series or A-PRO series.

Streamlined and diverse device connections
The USB-C audio/MIDI interface makes it easy to connect your computer or mobile device to the V-STAGE. You can play along with music apps and backing tracks, or use it for streaming audio via your smartphone. It also supports Apple MainStage control, allowing you to combine virtual instruments with the sounds of the V-STAGE for performance. Class-compliant support not only allows for basic stereo plug-and-play connection, but also allows multi-channel audio transfer for DAWs using a dedicated driver.
