This pedal provides a natural feel and sound for everything from classic rock sounds to hard overdrive riffs to endless sustain solos. We use real vacuum tubes to feed your guitar signal into the amp, so every sound is incredible and magical! Like a real tube amp, the tubes run at extremely high voltages, giving you great headroom, physical compression, and a delicate touch. There are two independent channels, Channel 1 (Green) and Channel 2 (Red), which share a 4-control equalizer. These two channels can be selected using the left footswitch. Because it's true bypass, the tone doesn't change even when the pedal is off. Channel 2 is equipped with a dedicated FX loop TRS jack (ins) for connecting external pedals (Tip = Send, Ring = Return, Sleeve = Ground). So selecting channel 2 will automatically connect the insert chain to your signal path. If nothing is connected, the signal will be sent directly to the output jack. The main power supply is DC12V (no polarity). A built-in boost converter boosts the input voltage to 260V, and a built-in dedicated trimmer allows you to adjust the tube operating temperature from 90V to 260V (preset to 260V). Lower voltages result in a darker, quieter tone (brown sound); higher voltages result in a louder tone that is more open, bright, and has more headroom.
The two channels of the pedal are identical. Each has a voicing control below the volume knob. This control allows you to select between DARK, NORMAL, and BRIGHT. Each channel also has a gain control below the gain knob. This control allows you to select LOW, MID, or HIGH gain. These controls make the G SPOT pedal suitable for many different styles of music. Go from hardcore extreme metal tones to mellow blues tones with the flip of a switch. G SPOT provides the best performance with a variety of amplifiers.
