The DTX402 features 10 practice functions only possible with electronic drums. These include ""Song Part Gate,"" which allows beginners to gradually improve their playing skills by learning to play the built-in practice songs; ""Rhythm Gate,"" which helps hone accurate rhythmic sense, the foundation of drumming; and ""Fast Blast,"" which measures the speed of your strokes. There's also a scoring function that objectively evaluates your technical ability, providing a wealth of support functions to help you improve your expressiveness as a drummer while having fun.

4. Intuitive Operation and High Expandability Through Free App Integration
The DTX402 Touch app for iOS/Android allows you to intuitively operate the training and sound editing functions on your smart device screen. You can view the scores of the built-in practice songs, check your training score for each pad, and enjoy a variety of advanced features exclusive to the app. By utilizing the ""Challenge Mode"" function, you can master drumming with a game-like feel using the built-in practice songs. Those who complete the challenge will receive a Yamaha Drummer Certification Certificate that can be shared on social media.

The iOS app ""Rec'n'Share"" is also available. Simply select your favorite song from your library and the app will automatically detect the tempo and add a click. It also features tempo adjustment and repeat playback functions, providing powerful support for drum practice. By using the app to record videos on your iOS device, you can easily create videos of your DTX402 series performance. You can also perform simple editing, such as adjusting the volume balance between the instrument and the song, and even upload the video from within the app.

->Pad additions are not possible.
