・The P1 is the brand's first Android OS that supports third-party apps. Equipped with a 4.1-inch screen, an Octa-core CPU that provides fast and seamless system performance, and 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, you can easily enjoy a variety of streaming music with your favorite apps such as Apple Music and Spotify.

■ Enhanced DAC function for seamless smartphone integration
・The P1 is not just a simple audio player, but also has enhanced connectivity with PCs and smartphones to make streaming playback more comfortable. When in USB-DAC mode, sound-related settings can be configured on the screen. It also supports switching between charging modes. When connected to a USB-DAC from a PC or smartphone, it is possible to switch between bus power charging and built-in battery power, allowing you to use the battery more efficiently.In addition to the usual 1m USB Type-C cable, a 13cm short Type-C cable is also included, making it easy to use as a USB-DAC. It also supports Bluetooth 5.3 and can be used as a Bluetooth DAC using high quality codecs such as AAC, aptX HD, and LDAC.

■Uses ESS ES9219Q dual DAC and sound tuning by Astell&Kern
・The DAC section uses ESS ES9219Q in a dual DAC configuration, and an extremely excellent balanced circuit has been constructed to achieve a clear sound that is faithful to the original sound. In addition, it is equipped with an amplifier circuit that does not use the amplifier function built into the DAC. By combining it with its unique sound solution, TERATON ALPHA AMP, and applying total sound tuning by the Astell&Kern sound team, it has achieved a clear sound and a wide spatial sound. The sampling rate supports native playback up to PCM 384KHz/32bit and DSD256. The output terminal is equipped with 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm balanced (5-pole GND wiring).

■ Equipped with Digital Audio Remaster (DAR) function
・The P1 is equipped with a Digital Audio Remaster (DAR) function that uses AKM's sample rate converter AK4137EQ. This DAR function was developed to exceed the limitations of the sound source format by upsampling the sampling rate of the sound source being played in real time. The high sampling rate enables more refined sound source playback, providing a delicate, analog-like sound, and supporting the enjoyment of a higher dimension of rich overtones, subtle differences in musical nuances, and rich resonance.
The DAR function can be turned on or off, allowing you to switch between different settings depending on the song or your preferences. It supports conversion and playback of up to PCM384KHz/DSD256, and converts and plays back the audio at a sampling rate that matches each source. You can choose between PCM or DSD for conversion with DAR.

PCM Conversion DAR
- 44.1/88.2/176.4KHz PCM is converted to 352.8KHz for playback.
- 48/96/192KHz PCM is converted to 384KHz for playback.
* If DAR for PCM upsampling is selected, PCM conversion is not performed during DSD playback.
* Quantization bit rates of 16/24/32bit are all converted to 32bit.

DSD Conversion DAR
- PCM files below 96KHz will be converted to DSD128 for playback.
- PCM files above 176.4KHz will be converted to DSD256 for playback.
*If DSD Conversion DAR is selected, DSD64/128 DSD files will be converted to DSD256 for playback.

■ Equipped with a crossfeed function that realizes a sound image close to that of a speaker
・In a headphone environment where the left and right channels are clearly separated, ear fatigue may increase with long periods of listening. Crossfeed is a function that mixes part of the original signal of one channel and sends that signal to the opposite channel with a time difference to localize the sound image in the center. This enables a natural sound as if listening with a speaker. The shelf cutoff and shelf gain settings allow you to set the crossfeed level according to the listener's preferences.

*Crossfeed only supports PCM formats up to 192kHz/24bit.

■Long playback time of about 20 hours and PD 3.0 fast charging support
- The P1 achieves long playback time of about 20 hours on a single full charge thanks to its low power consumption design that optimizes circuitry and system performance. It also supports PD 3.0 fast charging, allowing for faster and more efficient charging, and can be fully charged in about 1.5 hours.
