Inheriting the tradition of the K series, the KC12 is a 3-way 3000W speaker system. It has the beautiful design of a column speaker while achieving acoustic performance that exceeds conventional designs. Simple and quick to install, the KC12 is ideal for solo entertainers, musicians and bands, mobile performers and DJs, video production, and fixed installation sound systems.

The highly portable KC12 system consists of a bass-reflex subwoofer with a 12-inch driver that supports up to 40Hz. The innovative design of the mid/high enclosure combines a 1-inch compression driver with QSC's proprietary LEAF? (Length-Equalized Acoustic Flare) waveguide, and two low-distortion, high-excursion 4-inch midrange drivers. This 3-way design provides excellent 145° horizontal and 35° vertical coverage for clear, natural sound at all output levels.

The system can be configured with or without column poles and is ideal for installation directly on the floor or stage.

●Two combo XLR/phone inputs (Mic/Line/Hi-Z and Mic/Line/+48 V) with independently assignable factory presets for each input
Multi-function digital display allows operation and selection of parametric EQ, subwoofer levels, presets and scenes, Bluetooth settings, delay (200 ms), and reverb functions
●Bluetooth audio uses True Wireless Stereo (TWS), realizing low-latency pairing between the music source and the left and right speakers.
●Can be installed with or without the pole attached, making it ideal for installation on the floor or stage.

Unmatched Sound Quality

[Product Review] QSCs New KC12 3-way Column Speaker

スタッフレビュー

今回はQSCが満を持して投入した期待の新製品3ウェイ・コラムスピーカーKC12を実際に使用してみました。

まず、組み立ててみて思ったことは「大きい」です。
PAスピーカーの一般的な考え方として「サイズが大きいほうが、音量、音圧、低域再生面で有利」というものがありますが、まさにそれです。実際に普段聴きなれている音源で比較してみたところ、KC12は頭一つ抜き出た大音量、深いローエンドを感じました。他のモデルであれば、LIMITランプが点灯するような大音量でもKC12は点灯せず。聴いているこっちがこれ以上はと怖くなって上げるのをやめました(笑)

また、アレイスピーカーの角度がかなり効いていました。
試聴した部屋は、天井がそこまで高くないこともあり、反射が気になるかなと思っていましたが、実際20m弱くらい離れて聞いてみたところ、そういった気になるところはなく、シンプルにすごいなと思いました。また、音質についてもさすがはQSCという感じです。大音量にするとバランスが崩れたり、高音がきつくなってきたりというような心配は皆無。QSCスピーカーのクリアさはそのままにただただ音が大きい。

この音質、音量、低音の迫力が出力できるコラムスピーカーは中々無いのではないのでしょうか。ロック系のバンドライブとかでも十分に使えるレベルのものだと思います。

私はベース弾きなので、早速、エレキベースを繋いで、Hi-Z、E BASSで遊んでみました。
普段使用するベースアンプは、自分より背が低いので、例えるなら低いところから音が飛んでくる感じですが、KC12の場合、高域と中域の部分が上から降り注いでくる感じになります。これってこれまでには味わったことのない体験です。
ベースアンプにコラムスピーカー、これはマジでアリ。全ベーシストにオススメします。

QSCは、先代のKシリーズから音の良さを知っていますが、今回のKC12はその期待感をさらに上回ってくるものでした。

感想としては、PAスピーカーとしても楽器用のアンプとしても、最上級の逸品です。

システムの質をワンランクもツーランクもレベルアップさせてくれる凄いコラムスピーカーが出てきました！！
