A coaxial ceiling loudspeaker designed to provide superior audio performance in both background and foreground music sound systems.

Ideal for a wide variety of applications, from restaurants and hotels to houses of worship and businesses of all types, the CVS 601 offers power handling, wide frequency response, and low distortion typically found in more expensive products. The CVS 601 is EN 54-24 certified for fire detection and fire alarm systems, making it ideal for applications where safety is paramount. This loudspeaker also has UL 1480 certification for fire protection signal systems and UL 2043 certification for air handling spaces.

・Excellent sound and reliability
165mm polypropylene full range driver and 0.75"" ferrofluid cooled soft dome high frequency driver mounted in a UV and weather resistant UL 94-V0 and 94-5VB ABS front and plated steel fireproof can enclosure. Dust protection is also provided by an attractive powder-coated aluminum mesh grille. Mineral-loaded polypropylene cone material and butyl rubber surround enhance durability and long-term reliability. The CVS 601 is specifically designed for applications that require a combination of superior music and voice quality with outstanding reliability.

・Comprehensive installation package
The CVS 601 features an integrated galvanized steel backcan with a recessed termination box and a semi-matte white finish that meets the requirements of most installation applications and fits discreetly into any environment. Removable locking connectors feature screw terminals for secure wire termination and ""loop-through"" functionality. Steel cover and strain relief clamping mechanism can be used with fire-rated cables. A security toggle clamp makes installation quick and easy, and the package also includes 2 tile support rails and 1 C-ring. A plaster (mud) ring is also available as an option. Rounding out these impressive features is a custom-designed low insertion loss 30W line transformer with an easily accessible tapping switch.
