The DL8 Stagebox features 8 electronically balanced low-impedance line-level, 8-channel award-winning Midas PRO mic preamps with +48 V phantom power, an ULTRANET distribution hub for connection to personal monitor mixers or Turbosound speaker systems, and dual AES50 SuperMAC ports for cascading stageboxes.

This revolutionary technology seamlessly transmits up to 16 channels of independent 24-bit digital audio and control data over a single CAT5 cable between compatible digital devices such as mixers, I/O stageboxes, powered loudspeakers, and personal monitoring systems. The advantages of ULTRANET digital networks compared to traditional analog systems are that the audio signal is less susceptible to RFI (radio frequency interference), there is no signal crosstalk, and it is easier to set up and significantly reduces installation time. ■Massive connectivity with dual AES50 ports
By connecting with a single STP/CAT5 cable and daisy chaining up to three DL8s, you can provide up to 24 channels of input/output to the stage. Klark Teknik's AES50 simultaneously delivers high channel counts, extremely low deterministic latency, precise phase-matched network clock distribution, error detection, and network redundancy with simple deployment and ease of use to meet the needs of the live performance industry. This unique combination is also useful for live and studio recording applications, post-production, broadcast, and audio routing infrastructure.
