NOBUNAGA Labs entry CEPHALUS NLE-CPH is a custom IEM 2-pin re-cable that supports 4.4mm 5-pole balanced and uses 4-core OFC tin-plated wire to improve sound spread and depth and provide excellent separation capabilities.

■ OFC tin-plated wire for high resolution
- Uses 19 OFC wires of 0.08 mm per core. Reduces transmission loss and demonstrates the cable's original capabilities. In addition, tin plating is applied to achieve a thick mid-low range, clear sound field positioning and depth, and a soft, natural, yet expressive sound with a fast rise time.

In addition, by making the conductor perfectly round, the flexibility and durability of the conductor itself is dramatically improved. It plays a role in stable signal transmission even when exposed to bending or sudden temperature changes.

■ Adopts proprietary Symmetric Braid Matrix technology
- The symmetric braid matrix, which makes the twist direction of the positive and negative sides of the conductor symmetrical and smooths the flow of electrical signals to the utmost, suppresses the increase in electrical resistance between conductors and enables the transmission of a wide range of sound from low to high frequencies.

■ Flexible and easy-to-handle outer coating
- The outer coating is made of PVC, which is flexible and durable. It is very soft and reduces touch noise that occurs when rubbing against the coating. In addition, a cable slider is used to ensure secure attachment even when used on the move.

■ Transmission loss is minimized
- The cable is hand-woven one by one to ensure uniform braiding pitch without soldering (joint processing) at the branching part, which causes electrical resistance, and to achieve an ideal design that does not change the transmission characteristics. The cable's original characteristics are fully demonstrated.

■ Gold-plated parts for stable electrical conductivity
- The 4.4mm 5-pole plug and custom 2-pin connector are gold-plated to reduce contact resistance and provide high electrical conductivity. In addition, the base of the plug has a highly flexible bellows structure to reduce the load when the cable is bent. And the custom 2-pin shell has fine slits to support attachment and removal.
