AMPERO Switch has been renewed as ""Plus"" with improved texture and ease of stepping. This device can be used not only as an additional switch for the AMPERO series, but also as a general external momentary switch.
What is “+”?
Upgrade 1: New white chassis that perfectly matches Ampero II Stomp/Stage!
The chassis of Ampero Switch+ uses the same aluminum alloy material as Ampero II Stomp/Stage, giving it a luxurious feel.
Upgrade 2: Optimized slope design improves the feel of the switch and avoids the problem of the switch falling over.
・Compact and lightweight dual footswitch pedal
Fully compatible with Ampero and Ampero II series multiprocessors
・Can also be used with other devices with external control jack
・2 momentary foot switches
・TRS connection cable (80cm) included
■Main functions
・Pairing with AMPERO series
By connecting the Ampero Switch+ to an Ampero Series external pedal/footswitch interface using the 6.35mm TRS cable (included in the package) and setting the external pedal interface type to ""dual footswitch"" in the Ampero Series effect's global settings, you can assign different functions to the Ampero Switch+'s two footswitches as needed.
Of course, Ampero Switch is not a dedicated accessory for the Ampero series. Basically, any device that supports external footswitches can be used. Specific features vary depending on the capabilities of the target device. (Depending on the product specifications, there may be incompatibility, so only products that comply with the specifications of Ampero Switch+)
・What is a momentary foot switch? What is the difference from the latch type?
A latching type footswitch refers to a type of footswitch that, once triggered, remains on until operated again. A familiar example is a light on/off switch. Latch-type footswitches are ideal for turning effects pedals on and off or switching amp channels because they don't require a continuous press-and-hold action from the player.
Momentary footswitches, on the other hand, remain on only as long as they are pressed. A single press of a momentary footswitch generates a short on/off ""pulse"" that most digital multi-effects recognize as a ""trigger"" to toggle presets, tap tempo, turn effects on/off, etc. Momentary footswitches are primarily used to control digital gear.
