This replacement stylus is compatible with the discontinued Shure/M44G, which remains a beloved favorite even today. Its specifications have been redesigned with modern sound in mind. It comes with a convenient storage can with the brand logo for carrying spare replacement styluses. Compared to the previous model, the RS-44-100B, this new model offers improved channel separation and output variance.

JICO J44A7とJ50で使ってみた

JICO J44A7につけて鳴らしている。ターンテーブルはSL-1500C、フォノイコは内蔵のもの。
J50+NAGAOKA DJ-44Gの組み合わせも持っているが、こちらは高域が出ない、分厚く泥臭いサウンド。60年代のJAZZやボサノヴァなんかにドンピシャ。
同じソースをJ44A7+100SOUNDSで聞くと、すっきり解像度高くあっさりして物足りない。レコードをシンセを多用した80年代のPOPSに替えると、キラキラした高域と強力な低音がマッチしてとても良い。
フォノイコをTEAC PE-505に変更すると高域が更にカッチリして、この針の良さが際立つ。
J44A7+NAGAOKAでも大筋では似たような鳴り方だが、さらにパワフルで前に出てくる音になる。DJ用としては正しい方向性だが、私のような聞き専にはいささか喧しく、J44A7には100SOUNDSがベストマッチ。
ちなみにJ50+100SOUNDSでは低音が出すぎ＆高域の良さが出ないという最悪の組み合わせだった。
