The microKORG has made its mark on several legendary stages with its powerful synth sound from a small chassis.
Iconic features such as the portable size of the mini-keyboard, the large dial for selecting program genres, the five knobs that shape the sound, and the gooseneck mic that extends from the center of the instrument have been retained. A color display in the center of the control panel provides a visually pleasing graphical display that makes editing much more intuitive. A vocal processor and loop recorder are also included to meet the needs of today's music scene.

Inheritance and Innovation of the User Interface
The user interface has been retained for the fastest possible time to get the sound you want, with five knobs to edit programs selected by music genre. In addition, to capture the sounds of different eras, the bank selects are now based on the concepts of classic, modern, and future.
The 2.8” color display in the center of the control panel offers a visually pleasing, beautifully designed edit screen that gives you a bird's-eye view of the parameters for each of the five knobs and an animated, sensory overview of the state of the parameter you are touching. The new microKORG editing screen allows the user to view the parameters for each of the five knobs at a glance, and to visually grasp the state of the parameter being touched through animations, making editing stress-free. The oscilloscope display can also be switched with a single touch to allow the user to understand the current state of sound creation at a glance.
The UI, which inherits the basic workflow but incorporates new technologies that are only now available, is designed so that past and even future users can edit in depth in an intuitive manner.

Newly developed vocal processor
The microKORG is a synthesizer with a microphone. The microKORG became a long-selling product because it allowed users to easily enjoy the robot voices they longed for, which could only be achieved with a dedicated machine, using a single unit with an included microphone.
To further evolve the mic-based synthesizer, one of microKORG's most appealing features, we have developed a new vocal processor. In addition to the vocoder, the microKORG Vocal Processor also includes Hard Tune, which corrects the pitch of the vocal, a now standard vocal effect, and Harmonizer, which allows you to layer a voice with a pitch-shifted version of the original voice. Further effects such as reverb and delay can be applied to the output from the vocal processor.

Loop Recorder for enhanced real-time performance
For real-time performance that only a synth can deliver, the microKORG features a loop recorder that allows you to create a backing track by looping a section of your performance over itself. Three dedicated buttons for record, play/stop, and undo/redo make it easy for anyone to use loop recording.
The UI is organized in such a way that it is easy to learn once used, and settings for recording and playback are displayed by simply pressing and holding the respective buttons, making it easy to use Looper.
Of course, an arpeggiator is also included, with eight program number buttons that can be used to turn on or off the sound.

Time-traveling new synth sounds
In addition to the program selections based on musical genres, we have introduced new concepts in the bank selections for classic, modern, and future sounds, allowing you to choose the classic, modern, and future sounds of each musical genre according to your tastes. Each of the eight genre categories in the three banks has eight preset programs, and the user bank can store up to 64 programs.
microKORG is a virtual analog synth modeling analog circuitry. One of the characteristics of virtual analog synths is that they do not have any physical circuit configuration limitations, which allows for a wide range of flexibility in sound creation. This flexibility allows for timeless sounds that range from classic to modern to futuristic.
The familiar patch functionality of analog circuitry is also included as a virtual patch in a compact package, allowing users to quickly check their patches on the graphical screen and create deep, detailed sounds.

Iconic microKORG design updated for the modern age
The basic design of the chassis, control panel layout, green silk printing, knob shapes, and other iconic microKORG features have been retained, but the design has been updated for a modern look.
The color display, a new feature, is placed in the center, and the entire control panel is recessed one level to enhance the immersive experience of playing and creating sounds.
The body is painted in an exquisite metallic color that complements the three-dimensional shape, and the side panels are coated with a black stone-grain finish to ensure the instrument's long-lasting durability.

Dramatically more powerful effects
To expand the range of synth sounds as much as possible, 9 types of modulation including dynamics, 6 types of delay, and reverb have been newly developed. 3 effects can be turned on and off independently, and the wet/dry effect can be adjusted separately. The output through the effects can be adjusted separately for low and high frequencies.
The output from the effects is fed to a 2-band parametric EQ with adjustable low and high, allowing the final sound character to be adjusted, and allowing sound creation to be completed using only the unit itself, without the need for an external mixer or effectors.

Natural-touch mini keyboard that is easy to play despite its small size
The ratio of black keys to white keys has been adjusted to make it easier to hold down chords and play fast phrases with a natural touch mini keyboard. The high-quality box-shaped keyboard makes it easy to play glissandos.
The octave shift button, which is necessary for the 37 keys, is located in the optimal position for playing, allowing you to concentrate on your playing without worrying about the settings.

Battery-operated for easy portability
In addition to the included AC adapter, the instrument can also be powered by 6 AA batteries, and measures 54.2 cm in width and 2.1 kg in weight (main unit only, excluding batteries and microphone). The conveniently portable size (54.2 cm wide, 2.1 kg, excluding batteries and microphone) allows you to freely take it anywhere you like and play it.
