■Highly accurate mix even in near field
iLoud MTM MKII adopts MTM (midwoofer + tweeter + midwoofer) design, often called "virtual coaxial", with 3.5-inch high-performance woofer and back-chamber mounted high-resolution 1-inch tweeter arranged symmetrically up, down, left and right. The result is an experience where the woofer and tweeter playback sounds are not separated even in near field, but sound as if they are coming from one point. There is no problem with each frequency band reaching the ear at different times as in conventional 2-way systems, so you won't get tired even after long mixes.

■Deeper, more powerful bass
iLoud MTM MKII further improves the "sound beyond its size" unique to the iLoud series by achieving low-frequency reproduction capability extended to 36Hz (-10dB) and higher SPL levels. With improved low-frequency reproduction capability and volume, it performs on par with larger speakers, enabling reference quality monitoring in an even wider range of applications and situations.

■Better monitoring in various environments
iLoud MTM MKII is designed to optimize sound spread. Minimizing vertical dispersion reduces reflections from floors, desks, and ceilings, enabling accurate monitoring even at close ranges. On the other hand, horizontal dispersion is wider than the original iLoud MTM, providing a wide sweet spot while maintaining smooth in-room response. The maximum SPL has also been expanded along with improved power efficiency, enhancing the ability to handle volume-dependent situations such as immersive monitor setups and FOH mixes at live venues.

■Built-in new generation ARC room correction function
iLoud MTM MKII has a built-in latest ARC calibration function, providing optimal acoustic correction for any room with just a single speaker. The 4-point room correction function inherited from the iLoud Precision series provides extremely reliable monitoring. Room correction can be used immediately by connecting the ARC MEMS microphone included with the pair (sold separately for single speakers) to the microphone input of each speaker.

■Compatible with X-MONITOR software
iLoud MTM MKII is now compatible with X-MONITOR software, which has been proven in the iLoud Precision series. With X-MONITOR, you can control things beyond the adjustments made by the buttons on the back of the speaker. For example, X-MONITOR allows you to set delay compensation for each iLoud MTM MKII, so you can align the timing between speakers when building an immersive audio system.

X-MONITOR also includes more than 20 "voices" that emulate the frequency and phase characteristics of standard studio monitors. Selecting the voice of a model that you are familiar with in the past or that your client uses at home will help you judge the mix objectively.

iLoud MTM MKII は、3.5インチ高性能ウーファーとバック・チャンバー実装の高解像度な1インチ・ツイーターを上下左右対称に配置し、「仮想同軸」と呼ばれることの多い MTM（ミッドウーファー + ツイーター + ミッドウーファー）デザインを採用しています。その結果得られるのは、ニアフィールドでもウーファー、ツイーター再生音が分離せず、一点から鳴っているように聴こえる体験です。従来の2ウェイ・システムのように各周波数帯が異なるタイミングで耳に届くといった問題も無いので、長時間のミックスでも疲れることがありません。

X-MONITOR に対応

iLoud MTM MKII は、iLoud Precision シリーズで実績のある X-MONITOR ソフトウェアに対応しました。数々の賞を受賞した X-MONITOR は、スピーカー背面のボタンよりさらに詳細なボイシングを可能にし、iLoud MTM MKII を完全にコントロールします。X-MONITOR は、ユニット間のディレイをも正確に補正し、ステレオ・イメージを向上させます。

さまざまなモニター環境をエミュレート

X-MONITOR は、スタジオ定番モニター・スピーカーやさまざまなリファレンス・システムの周波数、位相特性をエミュレートできます。複数の再生環境を iLoud MTM MKII だけで素早く切り替えてチェックできますので、複数のモニタリング環境を構築する必要のない、スマートな環境を提供します。

設置場所を問わない柔軟性

iLoud MTM MKII は、コンパクトな筐体にさまざまな機能を盛り込んだスピーカーです。大きさは同じ機能や出力を持つスピーカーの30％～50％小さく、重量はわずか 2.5 kg です。付属のスタンドは、設置面からのアイソレーターとして機能するだけでなく、角度も調整可能。さらには、横置き用のゴム製設置台が用意されているため、作業スペースに合わせたベストなセッティングができます。

底面にはマイク・スタンド設置用のネジ穴もあるので、FOH で使用するコンソールに合わせて設置したり、ブーム・スタンドに取り付けてオーバーヘッド・スピーカーとして設置することも可能です。専用ブラケットもありますので、スタジオの天吊り、壁掛け用としての導入もスムーズです。
