The Oracle Analog Echo delay pedal takes its cues from some of Japan's most iconic vintage BBD pedals, but it's not an exact clone of them. Designed in collaboration with EAE's John Synder, the Oracle is made to be easy to play in front of an amp and not get in the way of your guitar playing. A simple, easy-to-use control layout means you can spend less time turning knobs and more time bending strings.
The internals of the delay are tuned for vintage warmth, but never muddy or dark.
Dual BBD chipset
Oracle uses two MN3205 BBD chips, which give you about 600ms of delay with the Time knob. Incorporating design elements from all the classic pedals we know and love, this Echo lets you turn the Mix knob to maximum to blend the delayed signal on top of the clean signal for a more 50/50 split, rather than a pure wet signal. The feedback control is perfectly balanced, allowing you to play lively at the very edge of oscillation. The pedal remains reliable thanks to the use of high quality panel mount In, Out and DC jacks.
tap in time
You may be wondering why a simple analog echo pedal would have tap tempo. I like that I can make quick adjustments with a tap. Additionally, the microcontroller controlling this circuit allows you to expand your creative palette. The Tap Tempo switch allows you to increase the knob's delay time to over 600ms. Doing so will degrade the BBD chip's signal, resulting in a lo-fi sound.
