This pedal produces a wah-wah, half-stopped sound.
A rotary switch that gives you access to three classic wah circuits: Wacked, Jimi, and Shaft, and an expression pedal control jack that connects to any expression pedal for classic wah-wah operation. Fulltone's unique Enhanced Bypass eliminates ""pop"" when switching and provides a rich bypass tone without the tone loss of traditional buffered bypass. Equipped with a JFET buffer at the input of the circuit, achieving an amazing impedance of 2.2 mega ohms. JFET buffered output with 10KΩ impedance fully isolated from subsequent pedals in the effects chain. It also acts as an amp simulator, allowing you to dramatically change the sound and create a wider variety of tones during live or recording sessions.
■Control
・Mode Buffer Switch: Three different wah circuits can be selected. Wacked is inspired by a vintage Colorsound wah, Jimi is inspired by a vintage Vox Clyde McCoy wah, and Shaft is inspired by an early 70's Chicago CryBaby wah.
・Pickup Compensator: To correspond to the output of the pickup, turning it counterclockwise will reduce the signal hitting the inductor, and turning it clockwise will increase the signal.
・Volume: Adjust the loudness of the effect. The gain can be increased or decreased by approximately 10dB from the 12 o'clock position.
CAUTION: Do not boost the amplifier at high volume settings.
・Frequency: Set the frequency to amplify. Using your feet, you can change settings while playing. Turn clockwise to access higher frequencies and counterclockwise to access lower frequencies.
・ON/OFF Footswitch: Switch to turn on/off.
■INPUT: 1/4” monaural standard phone input terminal
■OUTPUT: 1/4” monaural standard phone output terminal
■External Pedal: Connect an expression pedal using a 1/4” TRS “stereo” standard phone cable and enable operation.
■DC INPUT: Operates from a high quality regulated 2.1mm x 5.5mm plug 9-18VDC center negative power supply.
■BATTERY: It can also be powered by a 9 volt battery (006P battery). To replace the battery, unscrew the screws on the left and right sides of the housing, separate the top and bottom of the pedal, and replace the battery.
