Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Space Blue

The S2 Vela Semi-Hollow is a vintage-inspired guitar full of character and tonal texture. The offset body shape is elegant and edgy, with the addition of a semi-hollow body and f-holes.

Pickguard-mounted electronics provide a bright, snappy tone with a PRS DS-01 pickup in the treble pickup position.
A coil tap on the tone control allows the treble pickup to be split to a single coil, providing a balanced tone that cuts through the mix with style. The guitar is anchored by a PRS plate-style bridge with two saddles designed to compensate for intonation.
This bridge is reminiscent of Paul's earlier designs and traditional bass plate style bridges, but is top-loading for easy stringing.
Like the bridges on Paul's guitars and some private stock models, the PRS plate style bridge uses brass saddles and steel plates for maximum tone sustain.
