D'Angelico / Deluxe Bedford Chameleon

The Deluxe Bedford Chameleon features the original offset body shape reminiscent of the 1960s and is equipped with USA Seymour Duncan pickups in the SH layout.

The original shape of the pickguard, which is very D'Angelico, is reminiscent of part of an f-hole, and is a 5-ply pearl pattern.
The headstock and neck are decorated with 4-ply binding, and the design combined with the mother-of-pearl/avalon presence of the split block position markers is chic and gorgeous.
The body is made of lightweight basswood and wood materials such as maple & walnut 3-piece neck and Perferro fingerboard.
The 24.75" scale is used, and the 3-piece neck is made of maple with walnut between the maple to resist warping and twisting.
The neck joint is a unique heel-less design that allows the neck to reach the back of the body (covering the entire front pickup) like a through-neck, which provides a wider gluing area, and a "set-through" neck joint that is stronger and easier to play at high frets. The neck joint has a "set-through" neck joint that provides both playability and strength at high frets.
It also features a dual-action truss rod, which is adjusted on the head side.
The distinctive headstock design continues the D'Angelico tradition.
The truss rod cover is made of aluminum and has a strong presence inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City with its Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building), which was popular in New York City around 1930.
Pickups are all USA Seymour Duncan, with a stacked DA-59 single coil STK on the neck side and a DA-59 humbucker SH layout on the bridge side.
Controls are a 2-volume, 2-tone, 3-way pickup selector layout.
Hardware is gold, with Grover Super Rotomatic locking machine heads for tuning stability, and Tune-O-Matic & Stop Bar tailpiece.
The color is chameleon.
