D'Angelico / Excel DC Vintage Natural

The Excel DC Vintage Natural is a semi-hollow body model with an original double cutaway shape that is 16 inches (406.4 mm) wide and 1.75 inches (44.45 mm) thick and has a center block construction.

The original pickguard, which has a distinctive D'Angelico shape, is designed to resemble a part of an f-hole and has a tortoise shell pattern (5 ply).
The body top, headstock and neck are decorated with binding, and the design, combined with the mother-of-pearl/avalon split block position markers, gives a chic and gorgeous impression.
The body is made of maple top, sides and back.
The maple/walnut/maple neck has a rosewood fingerboard.
The scale is 24.75 inches (628.65 mm), and the neck is a three-piece structure with walnut sandwiched between maple, which is resistant to warping and twisting.
The neck joint is also a set neck joint.
In addition, it is equipped with a dual action truss rod that can be adjusted on the head side.
The distinctive headstock design inherits the tradition of D'Angelico.
The truss rod cover is made of aluminum, and its striking design is inspired by the skyscrapers of New York City, where Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building) was popular around 1930.
The pickup is equipped with a metal-covered USA Seymour Duncan 59 humbucker.
The control layout is 2 volume, 2 tone, and 3-way pickup selector, and the tone of each pickup doubles as a coil split push-pull switch, with a total of 8 coil combinations.
The hardware is unified in gold, and it is equipped with reliable Grover Imperial machine heads, stop tailpiece and Tune-O-Matic bridge.
The gloss finish is vintage natural, taking advantage of the beautiful grain of the flame maple.
Hard case is included.
