D'Angelico / Premier EXL-1 Satin Honey Blonde

The Premier EXL-1 Satin Honey Blonde is the original 17-inch (431.8 mm) wide, 3-inch (76.2 mm) thick single cutaway hollow body model.

The pickguard, with its original shape that is characteristic of D'Angelico, is a 5-ply tortoise shell pattern.
The top and back of the body, the headstock and the neck are decorated with binding, and the design is combined with mother-of-pearl acrylic block position markers.
The body material is a spruce top, a maple back, and wood materials such as a maple neck and an ovangkol fingerboard are used.
The neck finish is gloss, it has a 25.5-inch (648 mm) scale, and the neck joint is a set neck joint.
In addition, it is equipped with a dual action truss rod, which is adjusted on the head side.
The distinctive headstock design inherits the tradition of D'Angelico.
The truss rod cover is made of aluminum, and its impressive design is inspired by the skyscrapers of New York, where Art Deco architecture (such as the Empire State Building) was popular in New York around 1930.
The pickup is a floating mini humbucker mounted on the end of the fingerboard.
The controls are mounted on the pickguard and have a one volume, one tone layout.
The hardware is all chrome, and it features Rotomatic-type tuners with stairstep buttons, and an Ovangkol bridge and stairstep trapeze tailpiece that allows for overall string height adjustment.
The body has a gloss finish and is ocean turquoise in color.
