This guitar features Clapton's newly selected Vintage Noiseless pickups. The combination of the Vintage Noiseless pickups' clear tone and the 25dB active mid-boost circuit, which produces a thicker sound, is the foundation of the Clapton sound. The neck is a special V-shape.

The latest Clapton Strat sound is achieved only by combining the crisp, vibrant tone of the Vintage Noiseless pickups with a 25dB active mid-boost circuit for a thicker sound. The neck shape is Special V. The tremolo bridge is blocked to Clapton's specifications.
