LORE is a distorted time-space pedal with five programmes, each with a different combination of delay and reverb. It has two independent DSP chips and uses reverse, time stretch and pitch shift to create sounds that sound like a sprawling adventure story.

①Analog Feedback Paths.
LORE has two analogue feedback paths, allowing a combination of affected and unaffected feedback for each programme.
The two feedback paths interact and build organically on each other to produce a variety of sounds and behaviours.

(ii) Programs.
LORE consists of five reverse reverb and reverb combination programmes.
I. Reverse Delay into Reverse Reverb
This programme organically combines reverse delay and reverse reverb in their respective feedback paths.
The signal is inverted, counter-inverted and further inverted in the feedback network to create space and ambience.
Turn the X knob fully left to minimally invert and fully right to fully invert, controlling how much of the delay trail is inverted.
This is the perfect programme for eerie, huge minor chords.

II. Reverse Delay into Octave Up Reverb
This ‘light reverb’ combines octave-up harmonic feedback with a vast reverb tank to create breathtakingly vast ambiences.
Use the regen knob to add a playful ‘sparkle’ to the reverb's decay, while the X knob allows you to increase the reverb's decay value.
This programme is particularly effective for delicate fingerpicking playing.

III. Reverse Delay into Octave Down Reverb
This is a thick, rich and generously muddled ‘dark reverb’ that combines harmonic distortion with harmonic feedback down the octave.
The regen knob can be used to mix the reverb's attenuation with the lower octave; the X knob can be used to increase the reverb's attenuation value.
Add high-gain distortion or fuzz for sounds that transcend time and space.

IV. Reverse Reverb into Forward Reverb
This dual reverb programme features a forward reverb inside a reverse reverb.
Two harmonic feedback paths control the upper and lower octaves, while a time stretch controls the character and size of the space.
The feedback knob adds a lower octave note to the reverse reverb, while the regen knob adds a higher octave note to the reverse reverb's decay.
The X knob lets you control the decay of the forward reverb.
For space manipulation, try mixing dynamic picking with plenty of airy drones and pads.

V. Pitch Delay into Pitch Delay
Two jostling pitch-shifting delays create complex harmonic patterns in the feedback.
Depending on the delay time value, they act like a sequencer or harmoniser.
Using the X knob, the pitch of the 4th and 5th degrees and octaves of the pitch-shift delay are swapped as the delay progresses.
Try creating interesting rhythm parts with short staccato notes.

Momentary Features
Holding down the Dive / Rise tap tempo switch shifts the clock rate of the pedal up or down and holds it at that rate for as long as you hold it down.
By pressing Bypass and Tap at the same time, you can change the direction of the dive.
The green LED indicates that Rise is set, while the blue LED indicates that Dive is set.

Modulation.
Controls the modulation value.
Adjust the modulation rate with the knob while pressing and holding bypass.
When the modulation rate is active, the bypass LED will flash, so when the desired setting is reached, release the bypass switch and store the setting in the pedal.
