Offering modern styling, versatility and unmatched value, the Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV is the latest addition to Jackson's neck-through model lineup, developed for sonic adventurers embarking on bold bass quests.

The offset Spectra Bass body style features an innovative design with touring musicians in mind. The Niyato body is equipped with a large upper horn that distributes weight evenly throughout the instrument, providing comfortable playability. The maple-through neck has a scarf joint that provides rich sustain and a built-in graphite reinforcement rod, and has a speed neck contour that is ideal for easy access to high positions and high-speed play.The 12-16 inch compound radius laurel fingerboard has 24 jumbo frets and provides comfortable playability along the entire length of the neck.

This product offers a diverse sound palette for innovative bass players, catering to any genre. Two moderately powerful passive humbuckers provide balanced punch, power, and clarity. Equipped with flexible controls such as a 2-way toggle switch that coil-splits the pickups, a 3-band active EQ, a blend control for the two pickups, and a volume control with a push/pull selector that bypasses the 3-band EQ active circuit, a wide range of sound creation is possible. The push/pull selector allows you to switch between active and passive settings, so you don't have to worry about running out of battery.

The bridge uses a HiMass hardtail bridge to provide rich sustain and attack. All models feature a simple ""J"" logo, black hardware and a unique 2x2 black headstock.
