The Jackson Pro Series Spectra Bass is a precision instrument developed around the concept of a ""pro bass."" A bold bass that stands out from the crowd, it is designed to deliver the best sound to the most demanding professional and adventurous player.

The Pro Series Spectra Bass SBP IV uses a multi-laminate body made of poplar burl/walnut/maple/walnut/mahogany. It features a sleek Firestorm Fade, unique body finish and a unique 2x2 matching headstock with a simple ""J"" logo.

The offset, spectral-shaped body is designed with professional musicians in mind and features a large upper horn that distributes weight evenly across the instrument for perfect balance and playing comfort. The 5-piece Maple/Walnut/Maple/Walnut/Maple neck-through with built-in graphite reinforcement rod provides ultimate stability and amazing sustain. The 12- to 16-inch compound-radius caramelized Jatoba fingerboard features 24 jumbo frets and oval dark pearl inlays for excellent playability and exceptional tone.

The Nordstrand SB4 single-coil soapbar pickup with Alnico V magnet features a bright, clean tone with an all-round compression feel and impressive sound. Equipped with a 3-band active EQ, a 2-way toggle switch for switching the active EQ circuit on/off, a blend control, and a volume control, you can get a wide range of sounds. It is also equipped with a 3-way toggle switch, allowing you to precisely target the midrange range and make clearer tone adjustments.

Single-string hardtail bridge improves individual string attack and sustain.
