CATALINBREAD / SuperCharged Overdrive

The Catalinbread SuperCharged Overdrive is the return of the ferocious, amp-melting overdrive of the same name that was once produced. The new SuperCharged Overdrive has been redesigned to feature a more dynamic gain range and a tilt EQ for varying gain braces. Combined with an amp-like resonance control, the SuperCharged Overdrive is back.

Controls: TILT EQ, VOLUME, CONTOUR, GAIN
TILT EQ: Adds tilt EQ to the mix. Active 1-knob equaliser that adjusts based on the centre point of the frequency spectrum. The centre point is at 800 Hz and is balanced above and below the centre at 12 o'clock. Turning the knob up from 12 o'clock boosts above 800 Hz and cuts below 800 Hz. Turning the knob down boosts the frequencies below 800 Hz and cuts the frequencies above 800 Hz.
VOLUME: Adjusts the volume. Can be set to a loud setting.
CONTOUR: Works like a combination of the second gain control and the mid control. Adjusts the midrange thickness and sound saturation.
GAIN: Adjusts the intensity of the distortion. Try adjusting it in combination with CONTOUR.

Power supply: 9-18VDC centre negative or 9V battery.

Running at 18 V gives more headroom.
