The ES-355 is the top-of-the-line ES model, and accurately reproduces the body dimensions, body top contour, inlay pattern, and acoustic characteristics.

The 1959 ES-355 features a five-ply maple/poplar body and solid maple center block. It produces a high-quality sound with excellent feedback resistance and sustain. It has a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50s rounded medium C profile and an ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays. The Gibson-style open-book headstock features split diamond inlays and Epiphone logo inlays made of mother-of-pearl. It has gold Grover Rotomatic tuners and an Inspired by Gibson double diamond logo engraved on the back of the head. The pickups are two Gibson Custombuckers. The CTSR potentiometer, Mallory? capacitor, SwitchcraftR pickup selector switch, and output jack are all hand-wired. The included hard case features the Inspired by Gibson Custom logo and is finished with a brown exterior and pink interior. BODY
