TWO NOTES / OPUS

OPUS is an amplifier simulator & IR engine that incorporates Two notes technology.

■Preamp Simulation
Five preamp sounds, which form the basis of the sound, are initially included. These use newly developed tube circuit modeling and are based on famous guitar and bass amplifiers. Three more preamps can be added by updating the software.

Power Amplifier Simulation
In the power amp simulation, you can select the type of output stage circuit configuration (Push Pull/Single Ended), the type of tube (6L6, EL34, EL84, KT88), and the number of tube poles (pentode, triode).

Speaker Simulate
The simulate function allows for very precise mic settings, including microphone type and position, as well as speaker cabinet type. There are many parameters to reproduce the frequency response and distortion of the cabinet, allowing you to record guitar and bass tracks with a realistic sound. If you need more cabinets, you can purchase them via PC.

IR can be used
Instead of using the built-in virtual cabinet and microphone, you can load and use third-party IRs. The IRs can be loaded via the Torpedo Remote application on the computer.

Studio-quality effects
Effects include EQ, enhancer, noise gate, and reverb.

Use as a DI for an electric acoustic guitar
This unit works great as a DI box for an electric acoustico at live concerts or recording sessions.

With the Torpedo Remote app, you can set up the unit's parameters on your smartphone (iOS, Android) or PC (Mac, Windows).
