The Tropicália movement, an artistic movement that began to take off in Brazil in the late 1960s and strongly influenced artists in later years. Within this trend, which was strongly influenced by psychedelic rock, unique, tropical fuzz sounds coloured the Brazilian music scene.
ABELHA was born from a rethinking of these tropical vibes. From vintage psychedelic fuzz sounds to modern high-gain sounds. With its wide range of tones and functionality, the ABELHA is truly a timeless fuzz pedal.
The psychedelic bee design on the front panel and the relief-embedded pedal design are also attractive. Of course, like all BEETRONICS products, the board is also decorated with a bee design.

■Three fuzz flavours, from old-school to modern sounds.

With the ABELHA you can choose your favourite flavour from three different fuzz sounds.

POLEN ? A buzzy, low-gain fuzz reminiscent of a germanium fuzz on the verge of battery failure.
NECTAR ? A high-gain fuzz with a full, big sound image.
HONEY ? A more versatile high-gain drive with slightly less gain.

In addition, there is a BUZZ control to adjust the gain, a LOUD control to adjust the volume and HI, LO controls to adjust the high and low frequencies separately.
All of the controls can be adjusted extensively to create the ideal fuzz sound to perfection.

■Dive into the psychedelic world with the TROPICAL mode.

Turn on the ABELHA's highlight, TROPICAL mode, and you're instantly transported to psychedelic Tropicália. The high-pass filter allows you to create unique BUZZ tones typical of Brazilian fuzz.
In addition to switching the pedal on and off, the ABEHLA footswitch is also used to switch between these NORMAL and TROPICAL modes. In addition to switching between modes with a quick double press, you can also switch in momentary mode by pressing and holding the switch. Turn ABELHA on for a moment in a song, or time travel in NORMAL mode for chords and TROPICAL mode for one phrase! This also makes it possible to play like this.

When the pedal is bypassed
Single-click: Turns on the effect.
Hold: Turns on ABELHA in momentary mode. Release the switch to switch it off.

When the pedal is on
Single-click: turns the effect off.
Double-click: Switches between NORMAL and TROPICAL mode.
Hold: Switches between modes in momentary mode.

For switching in momentary mode, the time it takes for the mode to switch can be set from three different profiles.

How to set the profiles.
1.Connect the mains plug while pressing the footswitch.
2.When the LED flashes, release the footswitch
3.Each press of the footswitch switches the profile in the following order: Immediate (fastest, only the top row LED flashes), Medium (intermediate, only the top and middle row LEDs flash) and Lazy (slowest, all LEDs flash).
4. Press and hold the footswitch to save the settings in the current profile.
