Legere / Alto sax reed, French cut, 3.25

Developed to solve the reed problems faced by many woodwind players, Leger reeds are made from a new material that has almost the same vibration characteristics as a natural cane.

The angle of the cut, the strength of the cane, the vibration ratio, the surface finish, and the stability in relation to humidity and temperature have all been researched from various angles, and we have achieved a feel and tone that is not uncomfortable when compared to natural cane. Furthermore, the development of strength in 1/4 increments (*) through high-precision computer processing responds to the detailed needs of players.

青箱リードみたい

吹奏楽系メインです。ファイルドカット青箱リードのイメージで期待したそのままの吹き心地でした。
歯切れがよく、最低音からフラジオまでなめらかに発音できてクセがなく、強弱のコントロールも問題ありませんでした。
合奏の現場で２時間使ってみましたが音色、ピッチ感ともに良好で、よく響いて非常に安定した状態でした。
硬さが合えば、ケーンリードの代用としてかなり使える、よく出来た樹脂リードというのが個人的な感想です。
あとは耐久性でしょうか。同じ番手でも個体差があることを経験しているので、予備含め早速２枚ほど追加注文しました。
違いを試してみます。
