GRASS ROOTS electric bass guitar, G-AMAZE-DX/MS, Sonic Blue

The body is made of basswood to reduce weight. The neck is made of hard maple and is attached to the body in a detachable manner. The fingerboard is rosewood with block positions and wrapped in white binding. Since a wheel nut is used, the warp of the neck can be adjusted without removing the neck.
The scale is 32 inches (813 mm), one fret shorter than the regular 34 inches (864 mm), and the fingerboard width is slightly slimmer, making it easier for women and children to play.
The bridge is a traditional type, but by tensioning the strings from the back of the body, tension is gained to compensate for the shortened scale. The volume and master tone controls for each pickup have a simple and intuitive control configuration, but the master tone is a switch pot, and by pulling it up, both pickups are connected in series, creating a pseudo-humbucker mode.
