The ST series was developed using the culmination of Focal's technology to meet the most demanding demands of professionals. While inheriting the sound and design from the SM6 series, the most highly rated Focal Professional, it has evolved even further.
Equipped with a tweeter baffle with optimized acoustic and diffusion characteristics, and a flared structure for internal and external ports, the strength of the speaker itself has been significantly improved.

Manufactured in France, the ST TRIO 6 is a 3-way monitor offering perfect clarity, precision and dynamics. Equipped with two types of focus modes that can be switched to 1-way and 2-way monitors, Trio6 can be used as a monitor for 3 monitors.

This studio monitor features a beryllium inverted dome tweeter with a frequency response up to 40kHz.
In addition, W sandwich composite cones are used for the 5-inch midrange and 8-inch woofer. Cutoff frequency is 35Hz.
Like the SOLO 6 and TWIN 6, the TRIO 6 features Focal's best technology.

■Patented technology TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension
Focal's patented TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) suspension reduces distortion in the 1kHz to 3kHz frequency band by 50%. This technology significantly improves the transparency of sound and the ability to reproduce and reproduce sound sources.

■Improvement of cabinet strength and laminar vents
Laminar port design provides more natural sound and better transients with no port noise or distortion even at high volumes. The cabinet and internal lacing have been further strengthened and improved, suppressing distortion caused by the vibration of the speaker itself, and successfully improving low frequency response.

ベリリウム・リバースドーム・ツイーター

フォーカスモード

TRIO 6は２種類のフォーカスモードを搭載しています。

フォーカスモード 1

5´ウーファーは100 Hzから15 kHzのフルレンジで動作し、ツイーターと8”ウーファーはシャットダウン
フォーカスモード 2

5´ウーファーとツイーターが80Hzから40kHzまで動作し、8”ウーファーのみがシャットダウン

フットスイッチ・ペダル（別売）1台でコントロールでき、スピーカー背面のスイッチでフォーカスモードを選択しておけます。(“1 “または “2”)
または、デュアルフットスイッチペダル（別売）で、フォーカスモード（右スイッチ）をアクティブにし、フォーカス1とフォーカス2（左スイッチ）を入れ替えることもできます。スピーカー背面のスイッチは “1+2 “になっている必要があります。

その他の機能

Solo6、Twin6、Trio6には、可変ハイパスクロスオーバーと160Hzパラメトリッククロスオーバーが搭載されており、コンソールやデスクによる反射を低減します。On/Off選択可能なオートスタンバイモードも備えており、ラウドスピーカーをコントロールするためのシンプルで不可欠なオプションとなっています。
