The SIDEKICK JR is a spatial effects pedal that combines three algorithms (modulation, delay, and reverb) in a compact housing.
The potential of the original model has been retained while the chassis has been downsized and new algorithms have been added to enable a wider range of sound creation.
MODULATION SECTION
Three modes (DIMENSION / FLANGER / ENSEMBLE) inspired by the "classic stompbox pedals" of the 80's can be switched with a mini-switch, and by connecting an external footswitch (sold separately) to the XT terminal By connecting an external footswitch (sold separately) to the XT terminal, the MODULATION section can be turned on and off individually.
DIMENSION: A sound mode with a three-dimensional sound and a sense of depth reminiscent of the "Boss DC-2".
FLANGER: A sound mode reminiscent of the "Boss BF-2" with a slow chorus setting.
ENSEMBLE: A warm, mild sound mode reminiscent of the Boss CE-2.
ECHO/DELAY section
The "analog delay sound" is a fat analog delay sound produced by passing through the pre-amplifier part of the tape echo, while the "digital delay sound" has the depth and breadth characteristic of the rack delays of the 80s. The algorithm switch can be used to switch between the "fat analog delay sound" produced by passing through the analog delay and the "digital delay sound" with the depth and breadth characteristic of 80s rack delays.
Reverb section
The reverb section is equipped with a reverb algorithm with the presence and dynamics of a rack type reverb from the 80's. By switching between BANK A and B, a total of 6 unique reverb sounds can be enjoyed.
