Chop Fuzzz is the latest version of the Dr. Freakenstein series, a crazy fuzz pedal that best embodies the attitude of Rainger FX! Based on a full-on gate fuzz, it allows you to manipulate the signal in real time from all directions in a number of interesting ways.

Overtone control adds complex and mysterious harmonies that are different from both octave and pitch. The noise gate freely controls full-gain sustain. The chop tremolo mercilessly cuts the signal. And the LFO section has evolved to the ultimate tuning. With an impossible range of control, it is now possible to access the realms of drone sounds and ring modulators.
This is the most extreme guitar pedal ever created, born from the experimental laboratory of a mad scientist.

■Extreme Fuzz + Noise Gate + Overtone
The full-on, full-gain, full-range fuzz tone that has been passed down through the Dr. Freakenstein series is all present in the latest version of Chop Fuzz. Enjoy a terrifyingly loud sound with a huge low end and scorching high end.
It features a specially designed noise gate that achieves surprisingly low noise even at overwhelming drives that seem to sweep everything away. You can also freely control the sustain, which seems to stretch on forever.
Overtone adds complex and mysterious harmonies to the fuzz drive, unlike the conventional pitch and octave. It's like an extreme phaser or a wah effect on steroids. You can also control it in real time using the included Igor controller.

■ Extreme LFO section
The LFO section that shakes Overtone adds a “3D” feeling to the sound. It moves with a regular triangle wave, and can produce all kinds of complex and bizarre tones.
Chop Fuzzz now has two LFO speeds that can be switched with a footswitch. Slow is a standard speed range, with slow creeping changes and wobbly wobble. The newly added Fast pushes the LFO into the audible range, and can be tuned to a specific pitch. You can access the kind of drone and ring modulator sounds that wriggle beneath your playing.
