Three sections of drives with different characters are placed in parallel; the alternative and emotional sound typical of OBNE is completely penetrated.

The Beam Splitter copies the mono input into three copies and applies different drives in the three sections. It is an ingenious distortion device that outputs in parallel. A single input is transformed into the most spectacular and strangely expansive sound space you have ever experienced.

The three sections, each with individually adjustable tone and volume, have different characters, but the alternative and emotional sound that is typical of OBNE is completely carried through. It boasts such a great degree of perfection that it could be released as a stand-alone distortion device.

PURPLE: Hard clipping distortion that builds the core gain sound of the Beam Splitter, the heaviest of the three gain sections, with a strong comp feel. Controlled by the purple knob.

GREEN: An overdrive that combines soft and hard clipping for the cleanest and brightest character of the three gain sections. Controlled by the green knob.

BLUE: Transistor overdrive with the middle gain range and the most natural and responsive character of the three gain sections. Controlled by the blue knob.

Two of the three distortion sections can apply delays of up to 125 msc, and the Time (delay time) and Decay (feedback) settings can create all kinds of huge and unique feels.

Furthermore, the Deviate knob can be used to apply randomization to the delay time. From natural and organic atmospheres to beautifully disintegrated decadent landscapes. The array of sounds deviates little by little, and before you know it, you are in an alternate dimension of intersecting laser beams of extreme colors.

Weird filters, flangers, lo-fi vibrato, slapbacks that linger and linger, and faux reverbs that ooze and dissolve are just a few of the sounds you can achieve with Beam Splitter. Leave the stereotypes behind and explore with your own flair.
