Variations

Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Pro cello strings have a steel core, unlike the standard Dominant (nylon core). They respond well to fast bowing and have a wide dynamic range. The DP43 G string features a dark, warm color and a slight metallic shine. It has slightly less modulation ability than the tungsten-wound G string, but has a tighter, more sustained sound.
