Thomastik-Infeld / DP42

Thomastik-Infeld Dominant Pro cello strings have a steel core, unlike the standard Dominant (nylon core). They respond well to fast bowing and have a wide dynamic range. The D string NO. DP42 also has a light tone, but it has a slightly warmer sound than the A string. It is a typical example of what is required for the D string on the cello, with a warm, singing sound and an even connection with the G and C strings.
