The Hot Rubber Monkey V2 is a new pedal from Jay Rocket Audio Designs, a high-end effects pedal brand in California, U.S.A. The previous model, which reproduced the tone of a Dumble-type amp with HRM EQ MOD, has been further developed over a period of two years Overdrive pedal.

The Hot Rubber Monkey V2 has an overdriven sound like the natural distortion of a tube amp, and was developed by further refining the HRM EQ MOD, the tone circuit of Dumble-style amps, from the previous model.
Like the previous model, this model is designed to bring the tone of the guitar to life with a focus on the mid-range, producing the rich tone that is the hallmark of Dumble-style amplifiers.
It responds well to even the most delicate picking, allowing for rich expression. The midrange control focuses on the low-mids, which are the most important point in the guitar's frequency range, and the top end control increases or decreases the high frequencies, producing a sound that ranges from delicate with a core to punchy and fat.
Its excellent touch sensitivity and quick response provide a nousy effect without being buried. By using the best NOS parts sparingly, it achieves a much higher vibrational range than its predecessor.
The input and output terminals are concentrated on the rear panel, creating no extra space when using effects side-by-side.
In addition, when the effects are off, the signal is output without passing through unnecessary circuits. The sturdy metal enclosure is extremely compact in size. It is powered only by a power supply (sold separately).
