KENTON / D-SYNC

KENTON Electronics D-SYNC (D-SYNC) is a sync converter that converts MIDI Clock/Start/Stop signals to DIN SYNC (SYNC24), the tempo synchronization standard before the advent of MIDI, and vice versa. Sync converter that can convert DIN SYNC to MIDI Clock/Start/Stop and vice versa.

It is possible to use a DAW or hardware drum machine or sequencer as a master and synchronize it with a vintage drum machine equipped with DIN SYNC IN (SYNC24). Conversely, a vintage drum machine or sequencer with a DIN SYNC OUT (SYNC 24) can be used as a master and synchronized to a DAW or hardware drum machine or sequencer.

If you want to sync multiple DIN SYNC devices with a MIDI device as master, use SYNC-5 (sold separately). SYNC-5 (sold separately).

Mutual conversion between MIDI Clock/Start/Stop and DIN SYNC
DIN SYNC uses all five pins of the cable, so if you use an inexpensive MIDI cable with some of the pins not connected, it may not work properly.

The USB terminal on the back of the main unit is used to supply power; there is no USB interface function.
