The internal design has been improved from the previous model by adjusting the driver position and redesigning the acoustic chamber, minimizing sound diffusion and achieving a more delicate and dynamic low range and rich high range expression. By combining the unique amplifier/audio circuit technology installed in Astell&Kern audio players, we have achieved extremely low distortion and high quality sound, making playback as close to faithful to the original sound as possible even in a wireless environment. ■32bit Hi-Fi DAC
A DAC (digital-to-analog converter) converts the digital signal into an audible analog signal. In many popular TWS systems, the DAC is integrated with a Bluetooth chipset to prioritize lower power consumption. However, when aiming to improve sound quality, there are physical limits to this. AK UW100MKII is equipped with 32bit Hi-Fi DAC ""AK4332ECB"" as an external DAC. It is transmitted via I2S from the BT chipset and converted using the AK4332ECB DAC. Furthermore, by combining the unique amplifier technology and audio circuit technology cultivated with Astell&Kern digital audio players, we have achieved high-quality sound with low distortion at a level completely different from that of a DAC with a built-in BT chipset.

■Equipped with a single BA driver and a unique newly designed circuit configuration
Equipped with a Knowles single full-range BA driver. By being equipped with a single full range, it is possible to reproduce clear and accurate sound with good connection in all genres. By moving the BA driver position from the previous model to the inside of the ear, it is now possible to transmit delicate sound details more directly. Furthermore, we have redesigned the structure and mesh size of the acoustic chamber to match the position of the BA driver. By separating the digital and analog circuits using unique amplifier technology and a newly designed circuit configuration, we have achieved further noise reduction and connection stabilization.

AK UW100MKII is equipped with Premium Tier Bluetooth chipset QCC5141. Compatibility with Bluetooth 5.2 provides stable connectivity over a wide range. It also supports Qualcomm's next-generation high-quality sound codec, aptX Adaptive, which significantly improves latency, which is a drawback of Bluetooth audio. aptX Adaptive has the ability to adjust the bit rate depending on the content and wireless environment, and supports bit depths of up to 24 bits and maximum bit rates of 420 kbps. If you use a smartphone with Qualcomm True Wireless Stereo Plus, you'll get a stronger connection between your earbuds and your compatible device, seamless pairing between both earbuds, and lower power consumption. The AK UW100MKII has a lightweight, highly sealed design based on ergonomics and developed through numerous simulations, resulting in best-in-class passive noise isolation (PNI). Unlike general active noise canceling, which specializes in blocking low-frequency noise, it effectively reduces unnecessary ambient noise at medium and high frequencies. If you want to hear outside sounds, a single touch on the touch-enabled faceplate on the left earbud activates ambient mode. You can switch the ambient level between 4 levels using the earphone touch operation or the dedicated app.
