BASTL INSTRUMENTS/KASTLE ARP is a pocket-sized melodic micro-modular synthesizer.

The KASTLE ARP from BASTL INSTRUMENTS is a unique modular melody generator based on a quantised sine wave oscillator and digital wave shaper.

The pitch selection is based on a simple concept that unleashes complexity. The quantised oscillator is always tuned, and the pitch can be selected from the NOTE input and CHORD input. The decay envelope can be retriggered to add variation by skipping the pitch. The Timbre control allows you to blend the noble sine wave with 8-bit chip tune.

It functions as a full-fledged modular system, and is also compatible with the Eurorack modular system. You can play a variety of functions such as six syntheses, unique wave shapers, random steps, and LFOs with flexible patching.

The Kastle ARP is a palm-sized, battery-powered modular synthesiser that combines considered simplicity with complexity, and is equipped with a multifunctional LFO section inherited from the original Kastle Drum.

It's perfect for playing melody lines, and when combined with other Kastle series synthesizers, you can build a full-fledged modular synthesizer system, despite its compact size!

In BOOT mode, you can perform root note and fine pitch tuning. In addition, the sub-bass output plays the root pitch of the current chord and enhances the overall sound.

A wide variety of tones using sine waves and XOR wave shapers, and Rungler arpeggios.
The Kastle ARP is based on a pitch-quantised sine wave oscillator, combined with a digital XOR wave shaper.

This allows you to create a wide range of tones, from pure sounds to wave-shaped sounds.

By playing this sound with the 8/16/random step step voltage, which is an arrangement of the Rungler circuit, and with the special decay envelope circuit, you can play in a surprisingly organic way.

You can also build a magnificent modular system by patching and combining it with other KASTLE synths, even though it is micro-sized with jumper cable patching!

You can also freely patch it with external devices such as Eurorack modulars via the I/O port! The Kastle ARP is not just a gadget synth, but a flexible modular system that can control large systems or become part of them!
