SDX METAL MACHINERY is an expansion drum sound source that can be said to be the "SDX version" of EZX METAL MACHINE, the most popular of the metal-style EZX series.

The difference between EZX METAL MACHINE and SDX METAL MACHINERY is that the latter contains dynamic drum sounds recorded in the studio" as they are" without being sound-designed with effects, etc.

EZX METAL MACHINE contains drum sounds that were recorded at Henson Recording Studios (Los Angeles, USA), a studio used by many world-famous metal bands, and then sound-designed for metal at Dairywood (UK), the private studio of famous metal producer Andy Sneap. SDX METAL MACHINERY, on the other hand, contains the dynamic drum sounds recorded at the same studio in their original form.

The drum kit itself is the same as the one in" EZX METAL MACHIN," but "DX METAL MACHINER" has a very extensive range of microphone chan. Thus, you can use Andy Sneap's kit presets (mixer setting and your favorite plug-in effects to create your drum kits and sounds with complete freedom.

■About the MIDI drum grooves
This product includes MIDI grooves (rhythm patterns) recorded by Nick Barker, an English "extreme meta" drummer. As well as fast-paced rhythm patterns such as grinds, blast beats, and double-bass rolls, there are also various heavy rhythm patterns with toms, so even if you don't have any knowledge of drumming or metal, you can create the "foundation" of a metal song simply by arranging the rhythm patterns (MIDI files) in your DAW software.
