As the third generation of the desktop 10-in/6-out audio interface, the audio converter has been redesigned.
It has achieved a dynamic range of 127dB and THD+N of -117dB and has succeeded in obtaining a wide range of organic sounds comparable to high-end converters.
In addition, the Apollo Twin X has two Unison-compatible mic preamps. Universal Audio's proprietary Unison technology ensures that the tone of classic mic preamps is captured, including input impedance, the "sweet spot" of the gain stage, and circuit behavior at the component level of the original hardware.
It also works with Hi-Z instrument inputs, providing perfect impedance and gain matching for guitar and bass amp models from Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, and more.
