MA910SR development background
Maestraudio's first model, the MA910S, incorporates a head-related transfer function into its design and is equipped with an original passive ceramic tweeter, RST, aiming to achieve natural sound with a wide soundstage across the entire range. It has been well-received by many users as a high-performance IEM that does not cause fatigue when listening to it. However, at the same time, we have received many requests for a re-cable model from users who are seeking a sound with even more personality. Therefore, while maintaining the MA910S' wide sound stage, which is at the highest level in its class, we conducted repeated research and prototyping with the aim of reducing contact resistance loss due to re-cables and acquiring sound quality with more information, and we have now succeeded in developing ""MA910SR"", which is Maestraudio's first re-cable compatible model and a model that symbolizes the brand.

■Re-cable compatible with Pentaconn ear connector
We conducted verification with various connectors to make it compatible with re-cables. ""MA910SR"" uses the Pentaconn ear connector, which has a reputation for low contact resistance, as the re-cable connector. This connector not only has stable mechanical reliability when connecting and disconnecting, but also makes it possible to suppress contact resistance to less than 1/10 compared to MMCX, a general re-cable connector. For re-cable models that allow you to enjoy a variety of sound qualities, reducing contact resistance is an important design requirement in order to enjoy the characteristics of various cables. The MA910SR is an IEM that allows you to enjoy changes in the sound and quality of upstream sources such as audio players and music sources, as well as cables.

■Adoption of aluminum face plate
In Maestraudio's IEM development, the characteristics of the various components that make up the IEM are important parameters. In particular, the selection of the components of the housing is carefully analyzed using our own FEM (finite element method). The sound emitted from the back of the dynamic driver collides directly with the back faceplate, causing small vibrations. We focused on the fact that by transmitting these vibrations more quickly throughout the housing, it is possible to obtain sound with a large amount of information. Therefore, in the MA910SR, we adopted an ""aluminum faceplate"" with a hairline on the faceplate part of the housing. As a result, compared to a resin faceplate, the amount of sound information transmitted from the faceplate to the inside of the housing in the MA910SR is overwhelmingly greater. As a result, the MA910SR has succeeded in realizing sound with even more information and higher resolution while maintaining the width of the sound stage.

■Achieving a small, lightweight and wide sound stage
The MA910S series is equipped with a single newly developed graphene coat dynamic driver developed and tuned exclusively for Maestraudio brand products. When tuning, we focused on the head-related transfer function and optimized the frequency response to give the listener a sense of realism. By combining it with a passive ceramic coated tweeter (described later), we are able to achieve natural reproduction with minimal distortion from low to high frequencies. Additionally, by incorporating HDSS (*), a high-performance acoustic correction device, we have achieved a wide sound stage that was difficult to achieve with a small resin casing. The MA910S series is a universal IEM that produces comfortable listening-type sounds regardless of genre, while also being suitable for spatial perception and expression such as e-sports and movie watching. *HDSS is a patented technology of TBI Audio Systems LLC.

■ Passive ceramic coated tweeter ""RST"" born from a new idea
Ceramic sound technology using piezoelectric ceramics that Maestraudio has cultivated. The MA910S series is equipped with ""RST"" (Reactive Sympathetic Tweeter), a passive ceramic coated tweeter developed with a new idea. The multilayer piezoelectric ceramic tweeter ""VST"" (Vertical Support Tweeter), which can be said to be the core technology in ceramic audio technology, has a very high straightness of high frequencies over 20kHz, so it was necessary to make the unit coaxial. In the development of the MA910S series, we needed a ceramic tweeter that would efficiently transmit high frequencies forward even if it was off-axis for use in a universal IEM type housing. This led to the creation of ""RST,"" which has split vibrations similar to cymbals and music boxes. Its principle is to induce vibration by irradiating the diaphragm with sound waves from a dynamic driver. This product uses a diaphragm made from shakudo, which is often used in wind instruments, and has a unique special ceramic coating applied to its surface to obtain a clearer high-pitched tone. This is a passive ceramic coated tweeter with a new concept that allows you to control the sound quality by changing the dimensions, material, and support method of the diaphragm.

■Hybrid cable and original earpiece
A hybrid cable of silver-coated OFC and OFC is used for the cable, achieving improved sound separation and excellent localization. Pentaconn ears are used for the connector, and a protrusion on the right connector side makes it easy to distinguish between left and right even in the dark. In addition, the earpiece comes standard with the original earpiece ""iSep01"" in 4 sizes (S/MS/M/L), which achieves an excellent fitting with less strain even when used for long periods of time by slightly lowering the softness of the silicone rubber. Other accessories include a genuine leather cord reel and a carrying pouch.

■Domestic assembly providing high quality
Maestraudio is committed to making all of its products in Japan, and incorporates Japanese craftsmanship at a high level, including molding techniques by master craftsmen in Gunma and surface finishing by a manufacturing facility in Tsubame-Sanjo. All products are assembled in Japan and provided with high quality.
