Fractal Audio Systems / FM3 delivers the same sound quality as the Axe-Fx III with the world's most advanced amp models, speaker simulation and effects, but in a floor-type package. Amp modelling
The latest "Cygnus X2" modelling is the most expressive and musical ever developed by Fractal Audio Systems and responds extremely close to the original amp for every picking nuance.
Extensive speaker cabinets.
The FM3 MARK II Turbo's Cab block is a 2-channel version with a legacy bank of Axe-Fx II cabinet models and over 2,200 impulse responses (IRs) created by major brands.
It replicates real-world recording and stage techniques such as mixing two speaker cabinets and different miking.
The 1,024 user cabinet areas can also be loaded with third-party IRs.

■ Effects unit.
An exceptional multi-effects unit, the FM3 MARK II Turbo features Fractal Audio's state-of-the-art effects algorithms, including drive, delay, reverb, compressor, EQ, phaser, flanger and other effects ranging from modulation to loopers. The "Griffin" DSPs are the most advanced effects algorithms available on the market today.

Griffin" DSP
The FM3 MARK II Turbo features a three-core "Griffin" DSP consisting of one ARM core and two SHARC + cores, providing high performance in a compact package. In addition, a dedicated graphics processor allows the main DSP to be dedicated to critical audio processing.

■ Footswitch.
Each of the three footswitches with colour LED ring and mini-LCD display can be set to tap (short press) and hold (long press) functions, with eight customisable switch layouts to suit a variety of uses. In addition, the "View" function allows access to all switches of the virtual 12-switch controller with just three switches.

Connection to the FC series
Connecting an FC series controller to the FASLINK II port provides not only a footswitch, but also an additional expression jack and footswitch jack. No special settings are required just to connect.
By daisy-chaining up to two FC Series controllers, up to 27 footswitches can be expanded.

4-in, 4-out USB audio.
With a USB connection to a Mac or Windows computer, the FM3 MARK II Turbo acts as an extremely high-quality audio interface for playback, recording and reamping, enhancing your music production environment.
For studio recording, the FM3 MARK II Turbo's stereo output can be recorded and reamped, and for live performances, the FM3 MARK II Turbo's stereo signal and stereo backing tracks can be output simultaneously.

■FM3-Edit.
FM3-Edit is a Mac/Windows editor for FM3 that displays, edits and manages Presets and more. You can instantly see the entire preset, edit blocks and parameters, copy/paste, drag & drop, etc. In addition, you can convert Axe-Fx III presets to FM3 MARK II Turbo presets and vice versa.
FM3-Edit is compatible with Windows 7/8/10 and Mac OS X 10.7 or later.
