Audirect / BEAM4

Beam4 is the flagship model of Audirect portable DAC. Adopts the latest ESS9281 AC PRO and supports high-resolution sound sources.

■Adopts the latest ESS9281 AC PRO for DAC
・Similar to conventional Audirect products, this model can play up to PCM up to 32Bit/768kHz and DSD up to 512, and is fully compatible with high-resolution sound sources. In addition, although it is small, it uses three femtosecond-equivalent crystal oscillators to produce more accurate and noise-free sound. Equipped with a built-in battery, the company's original MCU power management system performs thorough power management and controls the current to operate between 3.85V and 4.2V, eliminating as much as possible the influence of power, which is an issue with portable DACs (dongle type), and maintaining stable output, achieving stable sound quality. Furthermore, power management contributes to extending battery life.

■Equipped with a unique power management system
・We have achieved a stable power supply by using an in-house developed battery system and managing and controlling the power supply. The current is controlled to operate between 3.85V and 4.2V, and the built-in Beam4 battery is used preferentially. If the Beam4 built-in battery runs out of power, it obtains power from the connected device, similar to conventional portable DACs that do not have a battery, and provides a stable sound supply for a long time.
*Unlike a mobile battery, it cannot charge connected devices.

■Volume adjustment/stop playback/song forward/backward/gain adjustment/decode type can be recognized with LED
- In addition to the power button, the physical buttons can be used to adjust the volume, stop playback, forward/backward music, and adjust gain. In addition, the decoding type can be confirmed using the LED.
*If the connected device is an iPhone, iPad, etc., the volume adjustment will be linked to the main unit.
-Use the gain button on the side to adjust the gain to 3 levels: LOW, MID, and HIGH, depending on the efficiency of the earphones or headphones. The indicator light changes color depending on the decoding type.
