Shanling / H5 is a portable DAC/AMP that supports local file playback.
■Compact design that inherits high-end models
・The H5 uses an aircraft-grade aluminum shell, which was inherited from the high-end model ""H7,"" and is designed to be compact enough to fit in one hand, making it more portable. The highly visible display and simple two-dial operation method have been inherited from the H7, along with the shell design, ensuring a stylish design and simple operability on par with high-end machines.
■Equipped with local file playback function
・Like the higher-end model ""H7"", the H5 has a MicroSD card slot on the back of the product and is equipped with a local file playback function. This function allows you to enjoy the highest quality music playback from the data on the MicroSD card without affecting the sound quality due to external connections such as cables or Bluetooth, allowing you to fully experience the sound that H5 is known for.

■Supports remote control with APP control
- By pairing with a smartphone that has the remote control application ""EddictPlayer"" installed using the ""SyncLink function"", you can access various settings of the H5 and the music library stored on the SD card from the smartphone. You can select songs, change various settings, and control the volume of the H5 from your smartphone without operating the main unit.
■Equipped with AKM DAC chip “AK4493SEQ” in dual configuration
■H5 is equipped with AKM's high-performance DAC chip ""AK4493SEQ"" in a dual configuration. SHANLING's tuning technology cultivated through high-end audio equipment brings out a warm, well-balanced sound from the AK4493SEQ, creating a smooth, dynamic and immersive sound.
■“TPA6120A2” made by TEXAS INSTRUMENTS is used in the amplifier circuit
- The H5's amplifier circuit is equipped with two TEXAS INSTRUMENTS TPA6120A2s, which is reminiscent of the H7. For the internal parts, we have carefully adjusted tantalum capacitors manufactured by Panasonic, which are known for their ideal frequency characteristics and high durability, and ELNA's highest quality aluminum electrolytic capacitors for audio, SILMIC II, which is a combination of electrolytic paper and silk fiber. The amplifier circuit made up of these parts achieves smooth, high-resolution sound and natural, wide sound field expression.
■Strict parts selection by engineers
- In order to achieve a clean, fully balanced output, the H5 uses Linearin's LTA8092, which has a reputation for being low voltage and noiseless. It suppresses mutual interference of signals that adversely affect sound quality, and achieves clear, high-quality sound with fully balanced output. The low-pass filter circuit uses TEXAS INSTRUMENTS' OPA1612, which features low noise and low distortion and was selected by engineers at SHANLING who have been designing high-end audio equipment for many years. By using ""OPA1612"" as a low-pass filter, we achieved low-noise, pure sound and wideband playback.
■Third generation FPGA technology +KDS low phase noise crystal oscillator
・Equipped with ``3rd generation FPGA technology'' developed in-house by SHANLING and ``Low phase noise crystal oscillator (22.5792MHz/24.576MHz) manufactured by KDS (Daishaku)'', suppressing phase noise to the utmost and achieving unwavering, high-precision signal transmission.
■Equipped with XMOS ""XU316"" which is on par with high-end machines
- The H5 uses the XMOS ""XU316"" USB chipset, which has been used in the H7, to achieve high quality digital input with low power consumption and low latency. It supports UAC 2.0 and UAC 1.0 and supports full decoding (up to 8x) of PCM 768kHz/32bit, DSD512, and MQA files.
■Supports 4.4mm balanced output and 3-stage gain control
・The H5 is equipped with a 4.4mm balanced output and a 3.5mm single-ended output, and is equipped with three gain settings: Low, Medium, and High, making it possible to connect with a wide range of earphones and headphones and set the ideal volume.

・4.4mm balanced output Maximum output: 840mW @32Ω
