The Late 60s ST sound, with its wild bottom and edge described as “Woodstock”, has a strong midrange and overtones throughout the entire range. The sound has a solid core and firmness, but with just the right amount of overtones, it is very easy to get the ideal “fatness” and expressiveness of a Strat sound.
