Ken Yokoyama formed Hi-STANDARD in 1991 and became a guitarist. His third album “MAKING THE ROAD” became a million-seller, an unprecedented feat for an independent artist at the time, and had a major impact on the Japanese punk rock scene.

At the same time, he started his own band, Ken Yokoyama, in 2004, which has released more than seven albums and successfully performed at the Budokan. In 2015, Ken Yokoyama released his first Gretsch signature model “Kenny Falcon” in Asia. Kenny Falcon Jr.” and ‘Kenny Wild Penguin’ were subsequently released, and their unique appearance and attractive specs have made them extremely popular among players to this day.

The “G6136T Kenny Falcon II with String-Thru Bigsby” was created by Ken Yokoyama, who knows Gretsch guitars inside and out, and who pays close attention to detail, as well as his own creativity and passion. It features the Early Summer Green Sparkle color inherited from the previous “Kenny Falcon Jr.” model, a three-pickup setup with a strong presence, and the new “Kenny'Tron” pickups co-developed with TV Jones. Tone switch, an essential part of Ken Yokoyama's sound, and other features, this guitar is packed with Ken Yokoyama's eccentricity. This new signature model, with its one-of-a-kind appearance and the perfect combination of the Ken Yokoyama sound and the Gretsch sound of yesteryear, matches a wide range of musical genres and is recommended for players of all types of music.
